Before we begin
Frequently Asked Questions
A few of the questions parents ask me before we begin. Didn't find your answer here? I'd be happy to answer you personally in a message.
It's never too early, and usually it's not too late either. I work with infants and children from birth, and early identification is a core part of what I do. If you've noticed that something in your child's movement or development doesn't feel quite right, or a doctor or professional has raised a question, this is the right time to check. Even if you simply want a reassuring second opinion, you're welcome to reach out and we'll think together about whether and how to move forward.
The first session is both an assessment and a treatment. It includes a comprehensive developmental evaluation with an emphasis on motor development. We'll begin with a short interview that gives me a complete developmental picture of your child, move on to observing their abilities, and from there into the work itself: hands-on practice and guidance as needed. At the end of the session you'll receive an organized message from me summarizing all the key points we covered.
Absolutely. You are a full partner throughout the process, not just an observer on the side. In every session you'll get an explanation of what we're doing and why, along with practical, simple tools to weave into your home routine, with no special equipment needed. The goal is for you to feel confident continuing to support your child between sessions too.
You don't need a referral to get in touch and set up an initial assessment, you can reach me directly on WhatsApp. If you already have a referral, test summaries, or relevant medical documents, I'd be glad if you brought them to the session so we can complete the picture together.
It very much depends on your child, the treatment goals, and the pace of progress. After the initial assessment we'll build a realistic plan together with close follow-up, and I'll keep you fully informed throughout, including honestly telling you when another session isn't needed. To get an initial assessment tailored to your situation, feel free to message me.
If your child has private insurance, I recommend checking your policy for coverage of developmental treatments — developmental physiotherapy is included among them. In most cases you'll need a referral from your pediatrician to claim the reimbursement, so it's worth arranging that in advance. Reimbursement through your health fund (kupah) is handled case by case, and I recommend checking with them directly.
The clinic is located at HaNevel 1 in Hadera, on the ground floor, with accessible entry for strollers and wheelchairs and free parking nearby. I aimed to create a warm, calm space that is pleasant to come to with a baby or toddler.
The easiest way to book is through WhatsApp, send me a short message with a few words about what you're looking for and I'll get back to you soon. For details about cost, payment methods, and any other question, I'd be happy to answer personally in a message, so I can tailor the information exactly to you.
